Kung Pao Chicken is a short and easy takeout meal made right at domestic! highly spiced kung pao sauce over chicken and peanuts is excellent served over rice!

This kung pao bird recipe is a favorite at my residence, we love the flavor and it takes only some minutes to whip up begin to complete!

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 6 dried chili peppers or 2 teaspoons dried red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vinegar either white wine or rice wine
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • Sliced green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish


  1. Slice chook into 1-inch cubes. 
  2. place in a huge pan or wok with sesame oil over medium warmth and cook till one aspect of the fowl cubes is brown earlier than flipping over and persevering with to cook dinner.
